Career ExperienceQUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR Successfully performed all duties required as a CWI Inspector, including: assembling test packages for ongoing projects with all supportive NDE reports, and preparing these test packages for sale to a third party; visually inspecting all flanges, insuring proper bolt up, alignment, and correct gaskets; and performing all PT inspections on roots and finals.
FIELD ENGINEER Responsible for handling all field problems with piping and equipment and their misalignment or misfabrication. Provided appropriate solutions with problematic drawings. Supplied pictures of these field problems for engineering clients in order to discuss and resolve solutions and develop an estimated cost. Actively served in the facility's Maintenance Department. During 1990, received CWI and began inspection work overseeing contractors. Other duties included pipefitting, combination welder, inspecting piping and as millwright when required.
